Fix Sulfa (Sulfamethoxazole / Trimethoprim) 160mg 30 Count

FIX SULFA 960 is an antibiotic medication for ornamental fish that targets gram-negative bacteria, including Aeromonas and Pseudomonas species, as well as mycobacterial infections. The dosage is one 960 mg tablet per 40 gallons of aquarium water, with a repeat dose after 24 hours and a partial water change between treatments. A continuous treatment period of 5 to 10 days is suggested, but treatment should be stopped if no improvement is observed within the first 5 days. This medication is strictly for use in ornamental fish and should not be used for fish intended for human consumption. The active ingredients in each tablet are 800 mg of Sulfamethoxazole and 160 mg of Trimethoprim. It should be stored with the lid securely closed and kept at a controlled room temperature between 59°-86°F (15°-30°C). Keep the medication out of reach of children and use it only as directed for aquarium purposes.
